Psychiatry examines a person's feelings, thoughts and behaviors. It aims to change the thoughts and behaviors that are not functional, make life difficult and disrupt harmony by evaluating the adaptation of the person to the environment, his relationships with other people and his perspective on his own life. During the treatment, drug therapy, psychotherapy or psychotherapy with medication is applied.

There are about 400 completed diseases about mental health today. Mental health diseases are not seen in a small part of the society, but in a significant proportion of the population. It manifests itself as bodily complaints as well as the emotions, thoughts and behaviors indicated in psychiatric diseases. In a study of the World Health Organization, 5 of the 10 diseases that cause disability in the world (the disruption of the expected work, school, home, social roles and self-care duties) in the world are mental health-related diseases. These include depression, alcohol and substance use disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
